Biography
Mr. Nizar is an astute physical therapist and sagacious rehab science researcher currently working as Head of Department of Physical therapy, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, at University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia. His commitment to teaching excellence has earned him accolades. His research interest spans a variety of topics in physical activity, multi-sensory reweighting, sedentary behavior and diabetic peripheral neuropathy. He presented his research findings at international conferences, published articles in prolific journals, and was awarded with scholarships and research grants. A few of his academic articles have been translated to other languages. He serves as associate editor and reviewer for high end academic journals from United States. Mr. Nizar served as Head of Department of Physical therapy at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. He has been invited as keynote speaker at international health care conferences. He writes health care articles for periodicals and national dailies. Mr. Nizar obtained his post graduate degree in Physical therapy from prestigious Mahatma Gandhi University, India.
